Biographical Notes

Born in Israel in 1981. Was raised in Los Angeles, California from a young age and moved back to Israel on my own at age 15. The type of art I create is usually through kinetic sculpture, experimental video and filmmaking, but I love having the tools to work in any medium that serves the concept/feeling and so I also work in printmaking, drawing, installation (etc.). My work is influenced by ancient texts, as well as the Kabbalah and I focus on finding spirit through material. I also own a film production company called ‘288 Sparks‘ where I direct/produce films together with my partner Mili Ben Hayl and teach courses on ‘Video Art’ and ‘the Dialogue with Material’ in colleges and universities. I live and work in Jerusalem and my studio is located at the Ananeh Art Center in Ein Yael, Jerusalem.
