שם-מים הוא וידאו ארט אקספרימנטלי של דקה וחצי שנעשה על ידי תמר שפוני ומילי בן חייל. הוידאו נעשה ללא אפקטים וזהו תיעוד של פרפורמנס – שפוני באמת איזנה עץ על הסנתר בזמן שהתאזנה על סירה והיה זה הפעם הראשונה שבו ניסתה לשהות בין איזון לאיזון – הכוונה לאזן על הסנתר בזמן שגם הקרקע שלה לא יציבה. הוידאו זכה בפרסים רבים בפסטיבלים, כולל פרס ראשון בפסטיבל הקולנוע ירושלים לסרטים ניסיוניים
כש״שם-מים״ מוצג הוא מוקרן על חתיכת בד מרחפת במרחק מהקיר (ניתן לראות בוידאו למטה כשהיה מוצג במוזיאון ישראל). כדי לראות את הוידאו ״שם-מים״ בשלמותו ולשמוע על תהליך עשייתו ניתן לראות את השיחה הזאת שהייתה אצלי בסטודיו
“Water balancing a boat that balances a woman that balances a tree. The fragile balance in between man and creation.”
“In Between” is a 1.5 minute video art created by Tamar Shippony and Mili Ben Hayl. The video was created with no effects and it is documentary footage of Shippony who really stood on a boat and balanced a tree on her chin (this was her first time trying to be in between balancing – from above balancing a tree on her chin, and from below trying to balance while the ground is not stable). Awards: 1st place – Experimental Film Competition, Crossroads Film Festival, Mississippi, USA / 2nd place – Experimental Film Competition, Macon Film Festival, Georgia, USA / 3rd place – Short Film Competition, Three Rivers Film Festival, Pittsburgh, USA / 1st place – Experimental Cinema Award- Jerusalem Film Festival, Israel.
When “In Between” is exhibited it is projected on a floating piece of fabric a few inches from the wall, you can see it in the video below as part of a group show exhibition in the Israel Museum.
